Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the work of making your business easy for AI assistants to find, understand and cite. When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews which company to hire, the answer is assembled from sources the model can retrieve and trust. GEO makes your site and your mentions elsewhere part of those sources.
It overlaps with SEO but the emphasis differs. SEO targets a ranked list of links. GEO targets the answer itself, so it puts more weight on clear question-and-answer content, consistent facts about your company across the web, structured data, and being mentioned by sites the models already rely on.
We start with an AI visibility audit: we run the prompts your buyers use, record which brands get named and which pages get cited, and compare that with your site. Then we fix the gaps in content, technical setup and off-site mentions, and track citations month by month. This site uses the same methods, including an llms.txt file for AI crawlers.
